Park Rapids Fire Department
The Fire Department's job is to serve
and protect people and property. Park Rapids Volunteer Fire Department
is involved in Fire Prevention for kids. They go to schools and conduct
programs at the Fire Hall educating kids on the "do's" and "don'ts" when
involved in fire situations. Many hours are spent in
training to keep up with the different techniques for fighting all kinds
of fires, using the "Jaws of Life", and water rescue. The Fire Department
is involved in many projects to serve the public.
